Sensex Rallies 700 Points On Strong Global Cues, Nasdaq Gains 3.43%
Today Indian equity markets shrugged off the initial weakness of the current week. Sensex rallied 700 points in trade, stood at 59,103.95 points, and Nifty rallied 170 points, stood at 17,482.15 points at the time of writing.

The stock markets are aided by strong auto and banking indexes. Nifty PSU Bank gains 1.20%, Nifty Private Bank 0.47%, Nifty auto up by 1.09%, and Nifty energy up by 1.22% in trade.
Tata Motors, Maruti, Eicher Motors, Reliance, Cipla, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, ITC, TCS, Wipro, HCL Tech, M&M, SBI, Bharti Airtel, and Asian Paints are top gainers on NSE today. On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals, BPCL, Coal India are top losers today, ahead of its Q2 earnings report.
Meanwhile, the US stock markets closed strongly yesterday. S&P 500 was up by 2.65%, stood at 3,677.95, and Nasdaq Composite was up by 3.43%, stood at 10,675.80, and significantly Dow Jones Industrial Average was up by 1.86%, stood at 30,185.82 points. Asian markets are also performing positively. Kospi stood at 2,236.42 points up by 0.75%, and Hang Seng Index stood at 16,784.49 points up by 1.03%.

The top stocks to reach 52-week high level on NSE in intra day trading are Anant Raj Limited, City Union Bank Limited, The Federal Bank Limited, Indian Bank, IDFC First Bank Limited, TVS Motor Company Limited, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, PC Jeweller Limited, and Kalyan Jewellers India Limited. On the other hand, Life Insurance Corporation Of India, Samvardhana Motherson International Limited, Jindal Poly Films Limited, and Sanofi India Limited hit fresh 52-week low today.
