Servotech Shares Signs 2 MOUs With IIT Roorkee To Onboard EV Chargers

Leading EV charger maker in India, Servotech Power Systems Ltd. (SPSL), has inked two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with IIT Roorkee to collaborate on the development of cutting-edge rectifier units for CCS2 chargers and onboard EV chargers for 2, 3, and 4 wheelers.

The development of the domestic EV sector will be aided by this partnership, which will strengthen the country's manufacturing capabilities. The onboard charger for electric automobiles is a small, light-weight charger that is intended to be fitted directly on two, three, and four-wheelers. By doing away with the need for a separate charger, it enhances the convenience and use of electric vehicles.

According to the terms of this MOU, EMCOR Power Solutions undertakes to give Servotech Power Systems 1000 CPO (Charge Point Operator) locations in India. The project will be carried out in phases, with the installation of 100 DC fast EV chargers in South India constituting the first stage, and additional growth taking place across PAN India.
