Shah Rukh Khan And Family Move Into New Temporary Residence At Puja Casa Amid Mannat Renovation

In a video shared by Filmygyan, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was recently spotted alongside wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan, entering what appears to be their new temporary residence. The video has since gone viral, creating a buzz online about King Khan's latest living arrangement.

Suhana was seen dressed in a breezy yellow outfit, while Shah Rukh kept it casual in a crisp white shirt. The trio was captured walking into the property, signalling the beginning of their stay at the newly leased duplex apartments.

Temporary Shift From Mannat To Puja Casa

With the iconic Mannat undergoing extensive renovation, the Khan family has temporarily moved into Puja Casa, a premium residential building located in Mumbai's upscale Pali Hill. The new home includes two luxurious duplex apartments with a combined area of approximately 10,500 sq. ft.-nearly half the size of Mannat, which is spread over 27,000 sq. ft.

The lease agreement, signed under Red Chillies Entertainment, is with film producer Vashu Bhagnani's children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, co-owners of Puja Casa. Interestingly, the Bhagnani family also resides in the same building.

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan has leased four floors-specifically the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors-for a 36-month period starting April 1, 2025. The monthly rent stands at Rs 11.54 lakh and Rs 12.61 lakh, respectively, totaling a staggering Rs 24.15 lakh per month.

To formalize the move, Khan also paid a stamp duty of Rs 2.22 lakh, and the rental agreement was officially registered on February 14, 2025.

Although not as expansive as Mannat, the Puja Casa residence is just 3 kilometers away from the heritage home. The leased duplexes are expected to comfortably house the Khan family along with their security, staff, and some office space.

Renovation work on Mannat is expected to begin in May, which includes a long-planned extension. Given that Mannat is a Grade 2-B heritage structure built in 1914, the renovation required approvals from both the court and the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA).

While Mannat holds sentimental and iconic value for SRK and his fans alike, this move to Puja Casa marks a practical and strategic shift for the family as the superstar's Bandra bungalow undergoes a much-anticipated transformation.

Gauri Khan Sells Dadar West Property

In related news, Gauri Khan recently sold her apartment in Kohinoor Altissimo, located in Dadar West, Mumbai, for Rs 11.61 crore.

According to real estate platform Zapkey, Gauri purchased the nearly 2,000 sq. ft. apartment in August 2022 for Rs 8.5 crore. The sale has fetched her a profit of Rs 3.1 crore, marking a 37 per cent return over the holding period. This translates to an impressive 13 per cent annualized return on investment.
