Shanti Educational Initiatives Ltd (SEIL), an education solutions enterprise and a member of the Chiripal Group, increased by 4.40% on Tuesday, with its shares closing at Rs 165.55 from Rs 158.55 the day before. The firm has a market cap of more than Rs 2,660 crore and has seen extreme growth, having increased in value by 200% since its 52-week low of Rs 52.01 per share and by 1614% over the last 5 years. For the past year, its highest stock price has been Rs 207.75. Information related to Shiksha Educational Initiatives Limited a SEIL's Q2FY25 financial reports participated Rs 9.77 crore in net sales an increase of 236% and net profit to Rs 2.50 crore. Such figures show tremendous growth compared to Q2FY24 based on the year-on-year financial assessment.
In the first half of FY25, net sales increased by 87% to Rs 19.60 crore while net profits were up by 50% to Rs 5.60 crore relative to H1FY24 scopes. Year to date, as was sedated in FY24 the company also showed good results for the period with net sales growing by 73.3% to Rs 19.05 crore and net profit enhancing by 8.3% to reach Rs 3.65 in comparison to the previous FY23. Further, Uniformverse Private Limited's shares have been purchased so as to augment the SEIL's holdings. An additional 0.50% stake in Uniformverse Private Limited was purchased at a cost of Rs 14,00,000 at Rs 400 per share.

This acquisition increases SEIL's shareholding to 50.50% and is in line with the company's strategic aim of acquiring a deeper presence in the school uniform market. Although this is a related party transaction, it was done in an open market fashion where there was no other interest from the promoters and associated companies. SEIL plans to integrate Uniformverse's competencies as part of its game plan in enhancing its foothold in the education ecosystem.
Recently the company witnessed major block deals as well which highlights the faith of the institutions towards the company in its growth path. Albula Investment Fund Ltd, a Mauritius based company purchased 47,20,190 shares at Rs 123 per share from Ltd Investment Fund Ltd. Also, Legends Global Opportunities (Singapore) Pvt Ltd bought 1715000 shares at Rs 114.20 per share from The Great International Tusker Fund on August 30 2024. Both transactions were carried out on BSE.

The flagship Shanti Asiatic Schools are well established in several locations which provide education for over 25000 K-12 children. The Shanti Juniors preschool chain has over 300 centers across 74 cities within India. SEIL launched Shanti's Hopskotch Preschool in 2013 which provides the international standard of care and education in a child friendly atmosphere.
