Share Market Holiday: BSE, NSE To Remain Closed Today (July 21)
Due to Eid-ul-Adha 2021 or Bakrid 2021, domestic markets will be closed on Wednesday, July 21. Banks across the country will be closed on July 21 for Eid al Adha. The next stock market holiday will fall on August 19, 2021 for Muharram.
The equities, futures, and currency markets will be closed on July 21, 2021. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half of the year, with trade only taking place in the evening (5:00 pm onwards).
The domestic market fell for the third day in a row on Tuesday, pulled down by metal, real estate, and financial sectors. The Sensex fell 354.89 points, or 0.68 percent, to 52,198.51, while the Nifty down 120.30 points, or 0.68 percent, to 15,632.10.
The stock market will be closed on July 24 and 25. Due to the perceived weekend holidays, the BSE and NSE will be closed on these two days. There will be no trading on the stock exchange on these days.
