The weakness in gold prices is largely attributed to rising demand for the US dollar, which typically moves inversely to bullion. At the same time, evolving geopolitical developments, particularly diplomatic engagement between the United States (US) and Iran, have reduced immediate safe-haven demand, even as concerns around energy supply disruptions and inflation remain in focus.
