Shoppers Stop Q4 FY26 results show Rs 16.35 crore loss as revenue grows and INTUNE expands
Shoppers Stop reported a consolidated loss of Rs 16.35 crore in the March quarter, versus a Rs 1.99 crore profit a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose 13.7 per cent to Rs 1,209.79 crore as the retailer added new stores and grew INTUNE and beauty sales, supported by premium brands.
Shoppers Stop reported a consolidated loss of Rs 16.35 crore for the March quarter, according to a regulatory filing. The retailer had posted a net profit of Rs 1.99 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 13.7 per cent to Rs 1,209.79 crore, compared with Rs 1,064 crore a year ago.

Total expenses increased 14 per cent to Rs 1,241.99 crore in the March quarter of FY26. The company’s total income, including other income, grew 12.6 per cent to Rs 1,218.42 crore. Shoppers Stop is promoted by the Raheja family. Shares closed at Rs 295.15 on the BSE, down 1.60 per cent.

For the full FY26, Shoppers Stop posted a loss of Rs 36.09 crore. Total consolidated income for the year rose 8.83 per cent to Rs 5,095.46 crore. Management linked the annual performance to execution and changes in product mix. The company also highlighted spending and store additions during the March quarter.
"We delivered a resilient performance in Q4 and FY26 in a challenging environment, driven by disciplined execution and a continued focus on premiumization. During the year, we partly retired debt to the extent of Rs 109 crore and remain on track to become debt-free by FY27.\"
Shoppers Stop premium brands, beauty and INTUNE sales
Premium brands made up 71 per cent of total sales during the quarter. Beauty segment sales stood at Rs 309 crore, rising 17 per cent year-on-year, led by fragrance. Sales from INTUNE, the affordable format, grew 24 per cent to Rs 67 crore. The company also reported new store and department launches.
\"During the quarter, we launched 9 stores, 4 departments, 4 INTUNE and 1 HomeStop. Capital investment during the quarter was Rs 25 crore,\" said an earnings statement from Shoppers Stop.

\"We are encouraged by resilience in consumption despite global uncertainty and Supply Chain disruptions. The Indian fashion market is gaining momentum, led by fast fashion and premium/ bridge-to-luxury segments. Supply chain disruptions may create some inflationary pressures, but the company expects the demand scenario to remain healthy,\" he said.
Shoppers Stop operates 113 department stores and 12 premium home concept stores. It also runs 73 Speciality Beauty stores of M.A.C, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Jo Malone, NARS, ARMANI beauty, PRADA BEAUTY and SS Beauty. The chain has 84 Intune stores and 13 Airport doors across 4.5 M sq ft.
