This week, investors are going to focus on HDFC AMC shares due to the company's announcement of the first-ever bonus share issuance, which would issue one new share for every existing share. The important date to keep an eye on is Wednesday, November 26, 2025, which has been designated as the eligibility record date. You are simply eligible to get one bonus share for each share held if you buy HDFC AMC shares on or before the cut-off date, taking into account the T+1 settlement cycle in Indian markets. As a result, investors are left wondering: "Should I purchase HDFC AMC now only to be eligible for the bonus? Let's study the response from an analyst of Choice Broking.

HDFC AMC Bonus Issue
- Bonus Issue: 1:1
- Ex-date: 26 Nov 2025
- Record date: 26 Nov 2025
The company will be issuing about 21,40,03,751 bonus equity shares, each valued at Rs. 5, for a total of approximately Rs. 107.00 crore. The roughly Rs. 107.00 crore required for the bonus issue will be drawn from the Securities Premium Account of Rs. 760.23 crore and the Capital Redemption Reserve of Rs. 52.41 crore, based on the balances available on September 30, 2025. Within two months of the Board's approval date, but no later than December 14, 2025, the HDFC AMC intends to credit or allocate the bonus shares to the eligible shareholders.
HDFC AMC Target Price
"HDFCAMC is currently trading near 5,408, showing signs of consolidation after a corrective phase from its recent highs. The stock has been hovering around key moving averages, indicating an indecisive but stabilizing structure. On the upside, the immediate resistance is seen near 5,460-5,520, where the 20-day and 50-day EMAs are clustered together. A decisive close above this zone would confirm renewed bullish momentum and open the path toward the next major resistance near 5,858," commented Amruta Shinde - Research Analyst at Choice Broking.
"On the downside, the stock is taking support around the 100-day EMA, placed near 5,410, and the broader support zone around the 200-day EMA at 5,090. A breach below 5,090 could lead to further weakness toward the 4,850-4,900 zone. Volume activity appears moderate, suggesting that the stock is in a base-building phase after the recent correction. A pickup in volume alongside a breakout above resistance would be a strong confirmation for upside continuation," the analyst further recommended.
