Silver Price Today Hits Historic High; Crosses Rs 3,00,000/Kg on 19 Jan: Rates in Chennai, Delhi & Top Cities

For the first time in history, silver prices in India have crossed the Rs 3,00,000 per kilogram mark, reaching Rs 3,05,000 per kg and Rs 305 per gram on 19 January 2026. The price of 8 grams of silver has increased to Rs 2,440, a gain of Rs 80 compared to the previous day's Rs 2,360. Similarly, 10 grams of silver now costs Rs 3,050, up Rs 100 from yesterday.

Bulk buyers are also witnessing historic highs, with 100 grams of silver trading at Rs 30,500, reflecting a daily increase of Rs 1,000. Meanwhile, 1 kilogram of silver has crossed the Rs 3 lakh mark, now priced at Rs 3,05,000, up Rs 10,000 from yesterday, making it one of the highest levels recorded in India's silver market.

"We are expecting further upward momentum in Silver and immediate support would be at 20-DEMA level placed at 255,100. Daily SAR is placed at 249,500. For the upside levels, 261% of Trend based Fib. Extension which is placed at 362,937. Although, in recent sessions, with price's upmove, we have observed a RSI bearish divergence on Daily charts which is a classic "Red flag" warning," said Aamir Makda Commodity & Currency Analyst, Choice Broking.
