Silver Prices India, April 23: 1 Kg Silver Prices Fall By Rs 3,500 In Just 2-Days

Just like gold prices India, silver prices in India witnessed steep decline today. Today 1 kg silver prices slipped by a huge Rs 2500 and crashed by another Rs 1000 on April 22, 2024. After the decline in silver prices India, you need to pay Rs 83000 today to buy 1 kg silver.

Silver futures, maturing on May 3, 2024, declined by Rs 387 or 0.51% and were quoted at Rs 75,419 per kg on the MCX against the earlier close of Rs 75,650. Meanwhile, gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2024, quoted at Rs 65,395 per 10 grams on the MCX, after registering a slight fall of Rs 283 or 0.43%. Earlier close was registered at Rs 65,542.

Key factors such a rupee value against the dollar, global demand, and political uncertainty, among others play crucial role in determining silver and gold prices in the country.

Gold prices witnessed biggest decline in April amid easing worries of an escalation in the ongoing Middle East crisis. 100 grams of 22k gold price fell by Rs 14000 in India today to Rs 6,61,500 while 100 grams of 24k yellow metal prices dipped by Rs 15300 on April 23 in the country to Rs 7,21,600. On the other hand, 10 grams of 22 carat gold price witnessed a decline of Rs 1400 and 10 grams of 24 carat yellow metal prices registered a fall by Rs 1530 on Tuesday.
