SIP AUM Surpasses Rs. 5.5 Trillion In October Month
As per the data released by AMFI, net as well as average AUM of the mutual fund as on October 31, 2021 is at a record high of Rs. 37.33 and Rs. 38.21 trillion. The SIP contribution has also been reported at a record high of Rs. 10,518.53 crore.
SIP is a disciplined mode of investment that enables deployment of some pre-decided amount into mutual funds. As at the end of October 2021, SIP AUM has surpassed and hit Rs. 5.53 lakh crore as at the end of October 31, 2021. Also, the SIP folios have increased from 4,48,97,602 in September to 4,64,30,598 account.
Equity category saw inflows in all of the schemes except for value and ELSS, while in the hybrid category, barring arbitrage and hybrid aggressive or balance schemes, all of the schemes continued to see investor interest.
Mutual Fund AUMs in the equity schemes and also in Hybrid oriented schemes have risen by almost 33 percent during April 2021 to October 2021 to Rs. 13.12 lakh crore and Rs. 4.76 lakh crore respectively as on October 31, 2021.
