The Election Commission of India (ECI) has initiated the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process across multiple states, with booth-level officers distributing enumeration forms to electors. The SIR aims to ensure that all eligible voters are included in the electoral rolls ahead of upcoming elections. Citizens are urged to verify their names in the voter lists and take necessary steps to avoid being left out.
Central to the SIR process is the EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card), a unique 10-digit identification number issued to each voter. To submit the SIR form online, linking the EPIC with a mobile number is essential. The Election Commission mandates all voters to complete and submit their enumeration form, either directly to the Booth Level Officer (BLO) or online.
