Skoda Kylaq SUV Earns 5-Star Safety Rating from Bharat NCAP

Skoda Auto India announced that its sub-4 meter SUV, Kylaq, has earned a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. This achievement marks the first time a vehicle from the Czech manufacturer's lineup has participated in India's official new car safety assessment programme. Skoda's commitment to safety is evident, as all its models have consistently achieved high safety ratings globally and in India since 2008.

Kylaq's success follows the footsteps of Skoda's other models, Kushaq and Slavia, which also secured 5-star ratings in Global NCAP crash tests for both adult and child occupant protection. "Safety is intrinsic to the Skoda DNA," stated Petr Janeba, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India. He emphasised that Skoda Auto India was the first brand to achieve full 5-star ratings for adults and children under Global NCAP tests.
