Small Cap Stock, Under Rs 50: Shares of Elitecon International Limited ended higher during Tuesday's trading session, after the tobacco products manufacturer announced major appointments in its board and senior management. The company has announced eight appointments as part of its eight key appointments as part of its ongoing Board, management and governance strengthening process.
Elitecon International stock closed 1.97% higher at Rs 17.06 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,727.04 crore on Tuesday, August 18. The stock had touched an intraday high of Rs 17.21 per share and an intraday low of Rs 16.77 per share.

Elitecon International Business Update
The company's board of directors approved eight appointments related to its board and management. The changes "approved at the Board meeting held on August 14, 2026, all appointments are effective from the same date, with the appointments of the directors, including the Managing Director, subject to approval of the members within the timelines prescribed under applicable law."
The new leadership structure includes three Additional Directors in the Non-Executive Independent category, including a woman independent director, an Executive director, and the appointment of Pradeep Kumar as Managing Director from his existing position as Additional Executive Director, and "the appointment of a Company Secretary and Key Managerial Personnel, designated as Compliance Officer, a Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, and a Secretarial Auditor," stated the firm in its report.
Purva Jhanwar has been appointed as Company Secretary, Kusha Charan Swain has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. M/s Neeraj Bajaj & Associates, Company Secretaries, has been appointed as Secretarial Auditor to fill the casual vacancy.
Elitecon International Share Price Trend
The stock closed higher on Tuesday. Its share price declined 4.5% in one month and around 40.74% in three months and 77.4% in six months. The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 422.65 per share on August 25, 2025. The stock dipped to its 52-week low of Rs 15.3 per share on July 31, 2026. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 280.45%.
