Netizens are going gaga over the upcoming pan-India release of Baahubali superstar Prabhas' upcoming movie 'Spirit'. The first look of the multilingual movie dropped on the internet at midnight of January 1, 2026, right in time to amplify the New Year cheers. From the teaser, it can be said that the movie will involve gritty actions by Prabhas, who is playing the role of cop. Prabhas is expected to create magic alongside Tripti Dimri. Other renowned cast members are Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana.

As per Sacnilk report, known for designing striking and discussion-worthy promotional material, Vanga is reportedly timing the reveal to create maximum impact. The first look is expected to showcase Prabhas in a never-seen-before intense avatar, which has remained a closely guarded secret since the film was announced. Although there is no official confirmation from the production house or the director yet, the buzz has already created a wave of excitement among fans across social media.

A report of Gulte.com revealed that the first look of Spirit showcases Prabhas is seen shirtless from the back, flaunting his heavily built, muscular physique marked by bruises, scars, and bandages across his shoulder, arm, and back, hinting at a brutal, violent past. His long, rugged hair and thick beard further amplify the rawness of the character. Holding a liquor bottle in one hand, Prabhas stands with an air of emotional exhaustion and suppressed rage, while Tripti Dimri lights a cigarette for him from close quarters. The moment feels intimate.

The Gulte report added that overall the movie's first look shows a grim, gritty, and intense emotions, hinting at a protagonist who is emotionally scarred, fiercely aggressive, and driven by inner demons.

As per many reports, it is expected that Spirit movie could be released in the late 2026, or in 2027.

This is the first collaboration of Prabhas with Sandeep Reddy Vanga who is the director of the movie. The film is backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Productions and is going to be released on a Pan-India basis.
