SRF Share Price Slides 5% Despite Dazzling Dividend, 60% Profit; Buy, Hold Or Exit? Check Target Price

SRF Share Price Today: Shares of SRF Limited declined significantly during Wednesday's intraday trade despite delivering strong dividend and even stronger Q3FY26 profit. The company's board of directors had announced a 50% interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26.

SRF shares were trading 5% lower at Rs 2728 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 80,864.69 crore at 11 am. The stock had dipped to an intraday low of Rs 2721 per share and an intraday high of Rs 2,766.57 per share.

SRF Share Price Recommendation

Strong revenue in the chemical segment despite persistent global headwinds fuelled SRF's healthy performance in the third quarter of financial year (FY 26). The compay's EBIT surged by 25% year-on-year. Performance films and foil (PFF) EBIT grew by 5% YoY, while technical textiles EBIT declined 24% YoY. Motilal Oswal, in its report, released on January 21, maintained its 'Buy' recommendation for the stock.

Motilal Oswal gave a 'Buy' rating for the stock with a target price of Rs 3,660 per share, indicating a 27% upside from its Monday (January 20) valuation.

"We broadly retain our FY26/FY27/FY28 EBITDA estimates, though we raise our FY26 adj. PAT estimates by 7% due to the write-back tax provisions of ~INR1b in 3Q. We reiterate our BUY rating with an SoTP-based TP of INR3,660," noted Motilal Oswal in its report.

SRF Dividend

The company's board of directors, on Tuesday, approved a 50% dividend for FY25-26. "The Board of Directors at its meeting held on 20 th January 2026 has declared an interim dividend @ 50% i.e. Rs. 5.00 per share on the paid-up equity share capital of the Company," noted the company in its press release issued on Tuesday.

SRF Dividend Record Date

All the investors who will own SRF shares on or before the dividend record date will be eligible for the corporate action. The board has fixed 27 January as the dividend record date. "The Interim Dividend would be paid to members whose names appear on the Register of Members and the beneficial owners as per details received from National Securities Depository Limited and Central Depository Services (India) Limited, as on the Record Date i.e. Tuesday, the 27 January 2026," noted the firm in its press release.

SRF Q3 Result Recap

The Gurugram-based chemicals company had reported a stronger-than-expected net consolidated profit of Rs 432.7 crore in Q3FY26. Its net profit in Q3FY25 stood at Rs 271 crore. The company also reported a surge in costs of around Rs 74.24 crore from the new labour codes, which weighed on its profitability.
