After the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for financial assistance to various diversified portfolios of projects including major Renewable Energy projects and thermal generation projects to be set up at a total project cost of about Rs 1,18,826 Crore, state-owned SJVN shares soared over 9% to hit a new 52-week high of Rs 83.7 in Wednesday's trade on BSE. The financial support for the term loan is currently estimated at 70% of the project cost, however, it may be raised for renewable energy projects depending on the needs of the particular project.
