The initial public offering (IPO) of JSW Infrastructure Limited recorded a decent subscription on the second day of bidding. The issue was subscribed 90% as investors subscribed to 12.23 crore equity shares against an offer size of 13.62 crore. Retail investors bought 2.81 times the allotted quota or 10% of the total offer size, while the issue received a subscription of 1.36 times from net institutional investors.

Rupee Weakens To 83.2250 Against US Dollar
The Indian rupee weakened on Tuesday as the local unit tracked the performance of other Asian peers, while elevated US Treasury yields also weighed on the domestic currency, which neared key support levels.
On Tuesday, according to Reuters, the Rupee was at 83.2250 against the US dollar as of 10:55 a.m. IST, compared with 83.1450 in the previous session.

"Prima facie an average F&O trader, is less likely to warm up to the idea of the evening session as it eats into one’s personal time and space, which is essential for research and planning or more importantly time off the market for recharge and introspection. But the possibility that the evening session could attract a different breed of investors, should not be underestimated. Also, while large investors who need depth and tight spreads could wait for the regular session, those looking to react early to global news flow could be interested, despite the risk of potentially lower volumes. Further, we have so far taken credit for the strength of our macros, which has helped our indices less troubled by global market volatility. In other words, the prospects of even the index derivatives matching US markets blow for blow look low, and could be limited to some data releases like US non farm payrolls data or CPI/GDP numbers, while FOMC rate decisions which Indian markets are sensitive to are mostly announced quite late in the session."
