Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty End Flat Amid Volatile Trade, IT Stocks Rally

Sensex ended the day with the decline of 34 points to 79,441 and Nifty fell 18 points to 24, 123 amid volatile trade. Nifty Bank slipped 406 points to 52,168 and Nifty Midcap fell 437 points to 55,854 on July 2, 2024. JK Paper shares zoomed nearly 18% in trade today to 631.00 per share. IT sector stocks witnessed rally today while auto and banks sector stocks declined.
