Closing Bell: Sensex Down 599 Pts, Nifty Settles at 24,538 Mark; Adani Stocks Top Gainers

Stock Market Live Updates: The Indian stock market opened on a turbulent note on Tuesday. Earlier, Gift Nifty indicated a muted start of the Indian stock market. Nifty and Sensex remained volatile throughout Monday's trading session, with most of the broad market indices ending the session in green.

Nifty 50 fell nearly 34 points to close at 24716 on Monday, whereas, BSE Sensex ended marginally lower at 81373 points. Nifty PSU Bank, FMCG, Auto, Realty, Pharma supported the market session with their bullish movement. However, Nifty Metal stocks were among the top laggards.
