Stock Markets Extend Rally, Sensex Opens 300pts Higher, Nifty Above 17,771pts
Indian stock markets are extending a rally in the last week of October. Investors are having positive indications that the US Federal Reserve might slow down the aggressive monetary policy. On this positive cue, Sensex opened 300 points higher in trade, and Nifty opened at 17,771.40 points.

However, major indices are flat today. Nifty PSU Bank gains 0.23%, Nifty Private Bank gains 0.81%, Nifty auto fell by 0.05%, and Nifty energy up by 0.52% in trade. JSW Steel, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Kotak Bank, Axis, HDFC, Tata Motors, BPCL and M&M are top gainers on NSE today. On the other hand, Bajaj Finance, SBI Life, Maruti, ONGC and HCL Tech are top losers today.
Meanwhile, S&P 500 was up by 0.74%, stood at 3,830.60, and Nasdaq Composite was down by 2.04%, stood at 10,970.99, and significantly Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 31,839.11 points. However, Asian markets are performing positively. Kospi stood at 2,284.13 points up by 1.54%, and Hang Seng Index stood at 15,584.56 points up by 1.74%.
Fresh 52-week high and 52-week low stocks - NSE
The top stocks to reach 52-week high level on NSE in intra day trading are Arvind Fashions Limited, Kirloskar Electric Company Limited , Kalyani Forge Limited, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, Blue Star Limited, and Bharat Dynamics Limited.
On the other hand, Akshar Spintex Limited, Gland Pharma Limited, Globus Spirits Limited, and NMDC Limited hit fresh 52-week low today.
