Brigade Enterprises

Brigade Enterprises Limited and Agni Estates & Foundations Pvt Ltd have signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for the development of Brigade Tech Boulevard, a "Grade A" office project located on Chennai's Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam Radial Road. The project, which would need an expenditure of about Rs 400 crores, will consist of two towers and a leasable space of 8.36 lakh square feet. Brigade Group will launch this as its next commercial venture following the triumphant completion of the historic "World Trade Centre" on OMR.

Bharti Airtel

Bharti Airtel announced that it has 3 million customers enjoying 5G service in Mumbai. It is a positive move to provide next-generation mobile connectivity that the company has successfully implemented 5G service over all of Mumbai.

Intellect Design Arena

The top-ranked bank in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), has awarded an extended mandate to Intellect Global Transaction Banking (iGTB), the transaction banking specialist from Intellect Design Arena Limited, to carry out a full digital transformation by modernising current channels and offering new digital capabilities in transaction banking.

Deep Industries

Oil India Limited provided the firm an order for the Charter Hiring of 01 No. of 1000 HP Mobile Rig package for Drilling and Workover operations at Tulamara DSF Block, Tripura under OIL, Duliajan. The contract is for two years, with an option for an additional year. The award in discussion is believed to be worth a total of about Rs 81 crores.

Cipla

A business transfer agreement has been executed on April 15, 2024, by Cipla Health Limited, India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, to acquire the distribution and marketing business undertaking of cosmetics and personal care business from Ivia Beaute Private Limited, India, through a slump sale arrangement for a cash amount of Rs 130 crores.

ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL)

ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) on Monday inaugurated a Kidney Centre at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. The Centre was inaugurated by ZEE's MD & CEO, Mr. Punit Goenka and Breach Candy Hospital's CEO, Dr. Anirudh Kohli.

Tata Consultancy Services

In Londrina, Paraná, Brazil, Tata Consultancy Services has announced the opening of a new delivery centre. Over the next five years, this new centre will boost the local economy, add more than 1,600 new employment opportunities, and increase TCS's footprint in the area. TCS has been operating in Londrina since 2018 and employs about 1,700 people there.

Thermax

Thermax declared the grand launch of its cutting-edge water and wastewater treatment solutions manufacturing plant in Pune. This is a big step towards Thermax's broader goal of conserving resources and future sustainability. The factory would have backing from about 1,000 vendors nationwide and in Maharashtra, securing its supply chain. Additionally, a remote monitoring system built on Thermax's Edge Live ® digital technology will be housed at the site.

M&M

Mahindra & Mahindra announced on April 15 that the Mahindra Group will invest Rs 1,200 crore to build a 150 MW solar and wind power facility in India. With the implementation of a 150-MW hybrid RE (solar + wind) project, which will have a capacity of 101 MW for wind and 52 MW for solar, it is anticipated to produce 460 million kWh of energy and reduce 420,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

HAL

The Defence Ministry has put out a major tender for more than Rs 65,000 crore to Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) with the goal of purchasing made-in-India 97 LCA Mark 1A fighter jets.
