Tata Consultancy Services

To undertake a complex cloud transformation, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with Nuuday, the top digital networking and communications provider in Denmark. In exchange for a multi-million dollar transaction, TCS will fully manage Nuuday's IT infrastructure and deploy it to the TCS hybrid cloud, opening the door for future developments. TCS will assist Nuuday in achieving its goal of becoming a "truly digital service provider" with a cutting-edge and secure infrastructure in its role as the company's strategic technology partner.

Zydus Lifesciences

The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has given Zydus Lifesciences Limited final permission to manufacture and market Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride Injection USP, 25 mg/mL and 50 mg/2 mL (25 mg/mL), Single-Dose Vials (RLD: Thorazine Injection). Since the filing procedure began in FY 2003-04, the organisation has filed approximately 460 ANDAs and now has 391 approvals.

Adani Green Energy

In Gujarat, Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has officially put its 126 MW of wind power capacity into service. With the prior operationalization of 174 MW, this completes the 300 MW project. According to the company's announcement on Thursday, the 300 MW wind project would generate over 1,091 million electricity units and prevent about 0.8 million tonnes of CO2 emissions yearly. With the project now operational, AGEL is able to maintain its dominant position in the market while managing the largest portfolio of renewable energy in India, with 9,604 MW.

Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL)

A contract for Rs. 847.70 Cr plus taxes has been signed by Navaratna DPSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) for the delivery of 14 state-of-the-art communication and electronic warfare (EW) sensors and systems. These state-of-the-art systems, manufactured domestically by BEL, will be installed on three Cadet Training Ships for the Indian Navy, said the PSU company on Thursday.

Eris Lifesciences

With the announcement that Eris Lifesciences Ltd. will spend Rs 1,242 crore to acquire Biocon Biologics' India-branded formulation division, the company will launch a major push into the Rs 30,000+ crore injectables market in India and take the lead in the Insulins category. Two well-known insulin products, Basalog and Insugen, are now part of Eris thanks to the acquisition. With market shares of more than 10%, these are the largest Indian brands in their respective categories. With the acquisition, Eris's diabetes care brand will rank fifth in India soon and generate revenue of Rs 1,000 crore. Eris will also be entering the oncology and critical care fields with this investment. As part of this collaboration, Eris and Biocon Biologics Ltd. have inked a ten-year supply agreement.

Wipro

Wipro Limited declared that Desjardins has chosen it to modernise its credit offerings for customers and members. Desjardins' numerous in-house and legacy systems will be integrated and managed by Wipro Gallagher Solutions (WGS), a Wipro Company and a leading provider of cloud-based Loan Origination Systems (LOS), bringing together all of their Loan Origination Systems into one platform, improving customer experience, boosting efficiency, and cost savings.

JSW Energy

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has sent a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a grid-connected solar capacity of 300 MW to JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited. This is in response to a tariff-based competitive bid that was invited for the establishment of a 1,125 MW grid-connected solar power project to be set up in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited's RE Park at Khavda (also known as "GSECL Stage-3"). Before 2030, the company aims to achieve 20 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity. JSW Energy has set a lofty goal to become carbon neutral by 2050 and reduce its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030.

NHPC

A Letter of Intent dated 14.03.2024 has been sent by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to NHPC Limited regarding a 200 MW solar power project located within the 1125 MW GSECL's RE Park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3). For the aforementioned solar power project, the approximate cost is Rs. 846.66 crore.

Railtel Corporation

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a work order from Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) amounting to Rs. 113.46 Crore to establish an IP-MPLS Network Connectivity under OdishaNet Phase1.0.

Paytm

One97 Communications Limited (OCL) has been given permission by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to take part in UPI as a Third-Party Application Provider (TPAP) under the multi-bank model. Four banks will serve as OCL's PSPs (Payment System Providers): Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India, and YES Bank.
