Tata Power

One of the largest players in renewable energy in India, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), signed a Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries Private Limited of the Dr. Abhay Firodia Group of Companies to supply green power under the Group Captive scheme for a 25-year period. According to the deal, Force Motors Limited, a completely vertically integrated automaker, would use 13.64 million units (MUs) of power yearly and 6.2 MW of AC power.

While the other group company, Jaya Hind Industries Private Limited will be utilising 7.0 MW AC power, consuming 15.40 MUs annually. This 13.2 MW AC group captive solar facility, which generates 29.04 MUs of power yearly and would cut carbon emissions by around 21,200 metric tonnes annually, is situated in Achegaon, Maharashtra. After the PDA is signed, the project is expected to be finished in a year.

The facility for the group captive solar plant will be developed, managed, and maintained under the direction of TPREL. Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) is a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, one of India's largest integrated power companies. With this expansion, TPREL's total renewable capacity increased to 8,327 MW (PPA capacity is 7,338 MW). This includes 4,107 MW of projects in various stages of construction and 4,220 MW of operating capacity, which is made up of 1,019 MW of wind and 3,201 MW of solar projects.

UNO Minda

Under its subsidiary Uno Minda TACHI-S Seating Private Limited ("UMTS"), the company has inaugurated its new automotive seating systems manufacturing in Bhagapura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The facility will produce automobile seats' mechanical components for passenger cars. OEM orders have already been received by UMTS, and supply is anticipated to begin by Q4 FY24.

SBI

On December 14, 2023, at the bank's IFSC Gift City Branch in Ahmedabad, State Bank of India and KfW (German Development Bank) signed an agreement for a Line of Credit of EURO 70 million to promote solar PV projects in India.

RBL Bank

The bank has been allotted 40,00,000 equity shares of Rs. 100/- each by Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) representing 8.51% of the paid-up equity share capital of ONDC for a total consideration of Rs. 40 Cr at par on December 13, 2023. The bank aims to help ONDC achieve its goal of building an accessible digital infrastructure that would help the Indian digital commerce sector grow and change.

NBCC

The company has received an order of Rs 1,500 Cr National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), Statutory Corporation under the Ministry of Cooperation/ Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS) in various states for the construction of 1469 nos. of warehouses and other agri-infrastructure under the world's largest grain storage plan in cooperative sector at various location across India.
