Stocks To Watch Today, Aug 26:Cipla, Hindustan Copper, Ather Energy, Groww, Welspun Corp In Focus
Benchmarks indices are heading into Wednesday's session on a firm footing after Sensex and Nifty erased early losses to close higher on Tuesday. At the end of the trading session, Sensex added 286.98 points or 0.37% to settle at 77,656.09 and the Nifty50 climbed 115.50 points or 0.48% to end at 24,334.55.

The top sectors to gain were Healthcare, PSU bank and IT stocks while private banks and metals dragged. GIFT Nifty was trading around 24,474 in early Wednesday deals, hinting to a positive start for the domestic market.
Overnight on Wall Street, all three major indices closed higher, with the S&P 500 up 0.3% at 7,677.28, the Dow Jones adding 0.3% to 53,579.94, and the Nasdaq Composite gaining nearly 0.7%, due to falling oil prices.
Asian markets, however, opened mixed on Wednesday Japan's Nikkei slipped 0.25% and South Korea's Kospi was down 0.3%, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.96%

Cipla
Cipla stocks will be focused today as the firms' Pithampur manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh came under US FDA scrutiny between August 17 and 25.
Hindustan Copper
Hindustan Copper shares will be in sharp focus this morning as the government has exercised the greenshoe option on its offer for sale in Hindustan Copper, adding 2.9 crore shares to the original offer and taking the total OFS size to 5.8 crore shares.
Ather Energy
Ather Energy's board has cleared the allotment of 16 lakh equity shares at Rs. 1,230 apiece, alongside 79 lakh warrants priced at Rs. 1,260 each.
Billionbrains Garage Ventures: Groww
Ribbit Capital is set to offload a 1.6% stake in Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent entity of fintech platform Groww, through a block deal worth Rs. 1,914 crore. The floor price for the block has been set at Rs. 195 per share, as per CNBC-TV18 reports.
Welspun Corp
Shares of Welspun Investments & Commercials will be in sharp focus as the company, along with MD & CEO Vipul Mathur, are likely to sell 63 lakh shares in Welspun Corp - a 2.4% stake - via block deals. The transaction is estimated at Rs. 1,417 crore, with a floor price of Rs. 2,250 per share.
GMR Airports
CARE Ratings has upgraded its rating on GMR Airports' Rs. 1,500 crore worth of non-convertible debentures and long-term bank facilities, moving the outlook from CARE A+ (Positive) to CARE AA- (Stable), reflecting improved credit assessment for the airport operator.
Piramal Finance
Piramal Finance has launched a Rs. 2,100 crore Qualified Institutional Placement at a floor price of Rs. 2,102.65 per share.
.Lenskart Solutions
Lenskart share will be in focus since SVF II Lightbulb (Cayman), a SoftBank Group affiliate, sold a 2.58% stake in Lenskart about 4.5 crore shares, for Rs. 2,887.87 crore at Rs. 641.75 per share.
Aegis Logistics
Aegis Logistics has signed a Rs. 525 crore Business Transfer Agreement with step-down subsidiary Aegis Terminal.
