RITES

RITES Limited and Caminho De Ferro De Moçâmedes (CFM) Angola have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on the development of railways and related infrastructure, including the provision of rolling stock. In accordance with the MoU, RITES and CFM Angola will work together on projects involving railway infrastructure, rolling stock repair, rolling stock operations, information technology services, technical maintenance, master planning, and more.

GE Power India

On Tuesday, the company said that it accepted a purchase order from Vedanta Ltd. The contract relates to lowering the level of NOX (nitrogen oxide) at Vedanta's Lanjigarh Combined Gas Power Plant (CGPP) unit, which has a three-unit capacity of 30 MW. The contract's initial cost is Rs 25 crore, and the deadline for completing this order is 14 months.

NTPC

Stage-I (2 x 800 MW) Unit-1 of the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project has successfully completed trial operation and has been added to the installed capacity of NTPC Limited based on the accomplishment of established standards and required permissions. With this, NTPC Limited and the NTPC group's installed capacity have increased to 57838 MW and 73824 MW, respectively.

Wipro

Wipro Holdings (UK) Limited a wholly-owned subsidiary has transferred 100% shareholding in Wipro 4C NV step-down subsidiary to Wipro IT Services UK Societas wholly-owned subsidiary, effective September 12, 2023, as per a stock exchange filing.

IRCTC

On September 12, 2023, IRCTC and NBCC Services Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of NBCC Limited, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the purpose of planning, designing, and carrying out interior work for IRCTC's new office space at World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, Delhi, at an estimated cost of Rs. 31.40 crores.
