A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by RITES Limited and iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT-Roorkee, to work together on projects, events, and network facilitation to explore opportunities for innovation related to Cyber Physical Systems, with a focus on developing technology- and Industry 4.0-based solutions, as well as AI-based solutions, to meet the needs of the industry. Both organisations will work together and explore AI applications in areas including rolling stock maintenance, inspection, bridge maintenance, office management, and airports, among others.

From September 7, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Indices, including the Nifty 50, will no longer include Jio Financial Services (JFS).

Reliance Industries

On Wednesday, Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. (RRVL) announced that it went into a joint venture to purchase a 51% shareholding in Ed-a-Mamma, a company founded by Bollywood star Alia Bhatt.

TVS Motor

The newest addition to the Lemon Tree Hotels portfolio is the Lemon Tree Hotel, Mashobra. The property will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, after it becomes operational in Q1 of FY 2026. The 48 elegantly decorated rooms at Lemon Tree Hotel, Mashobra will also have a restaurant, a bar, a banquet hall, a swimming pool, conference spaces and other public areas. Kalka Railway Station is roughly 98 kilometres from the property, while Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh is about 135 km away. Both public and private transportation have easy access to the hotel via the nearby roadways.

To speed up the digital transition, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) strengthens its relationship with Tata Consultancy Services ('TCS'). The agreement, which is worth more than £800 million over the next five years and will assist JLR in developing a streamlined and cutting-edge IT infrastructure, is going to net spending of JLR and releasing free cash flow. Biocon

A subsidiary of Biocon Ltd, Biocon Biologics Ltd (BBL), stated that, as of September 1, 2023, the company has successfully integrated the biosimilars business it acquired from Viatris throughout North America (the United States and Canada). By the end of the year, Biocon Biologics anticipates having more than 150 workers in North America as a result of the completion of this integration.
