Suspended Twitter Account Tracking Elon Musk's Private Jet Moves To Thread

A suspended Twitter account known for tracking the movements of Elon Musk's private jet has found a new platform. The account, which captivated followers with its real-time updates, has migrated to Thread, an alternative platform, after facing suspension from Twitter, Reuters reported.

"ElonJet has arrived at Threads!" read Sweeney's first post on Thursday from the account handle @elonmusksjet, which had over 21,000 followers as of Saturday morning.

Musk

ElonJet has monitored Musk's private jet movements by leveraging publicly available data.

Musk's company, Twitter Inc., which he owns, terminated the ElonJet account in December after Musk claimed his kid had been unintentionally followed by a "crazy stalker" and threatened legal action against the account's administrator.

As a direct competitor to Twitter, Meta-owned Threads quickly attracted millions of users, including well-known people like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Democratic U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Threads is hoping to capitalise on Twitter's weakness following a string of erratic decisions from Musk.
