The Tamil Nadu Election 2026 is just a day away and have managed to grab all the attention. The polling will commence tomorrow across all 234 constituencies. Among the biggest highlights of this election is the political debut of actor-turned-politician Vijay and his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), which is contesting independently for the first time.

The TN assembly election 2026 is being conducted in a single phase on April 23, and the vote counting & Result announcements will be on May 4th.

The Election Commission of India allotted the 'Whistle' symbol to TVK on January 22, 2026.
The symbol is very popular and easy to recognise. It comes from the famous "Whistle Podu" chant of Chennai Super Kings and was also seen in Vijay's movie GOAT. Vijay is calling this election a "Whistle Revolution" and asking people to vote for this symbol.
Vijay's Constituencies & Major TVK Candidates
