Tata Consumer Share Price Outlook

The fundamental transformation from a largely tea- and salt-based company into a diversified, innovation-led F&B platform will help the firm scale up and gain strategic importance.

Tata Consumer Products' innovation intensity has increased sharply, with launches rising from 41 in financial year 2024-25 to 80 in financial year 2026-27, highlighted Motilal Oswal. "The company is simultaneously premiumizing its core beverages and expanding into growth categories, as growth products accounted for over 60% of launches annually since FY22," stated the brokerage in its report.

While Tata's growth portfolio is its strong point due to its focus on innovation, Starbucks has also built a significant national footprint over the past six years. "Tata Starbucks has built a significant national footprint over the past six years, with its store network increasing from 185 stores across 11 cities in FY20 to 502 stores across 80 cities in FY26. This represents ~2.7x growth in stores and a more than seven-fold increase in the number of cities served."
