Tata Group Renews Pledge to Integrity and Innovation on Founder's 185th Birth Anniversary

Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, in a recent address at the Postal Park in Bistupur, underscored the enduring legacy of the conglomerate's founder, Jamsetji Tata, reiterating the group's steadfast dedication to principles of integrity, innovation, and social responsibility.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion of Jamsetji Tata's 185th birth anniversary, Chandrasekaran highlighted the founder's visionary perspective, envisioning an industrial landscape driven by positive transformation. The commemorative event was marked by the inauguration of an exhibition at the Steelennium Hall at the Jamshedpur Works of Tata Steel. The exhibition showcased various technology-led initiatives from different departments within Tata Steel, highlighting the company's relentless pursuit of innovation and advancement.

In a significant gesture towards sustainability, Chandrasekaran flagged off a fleet of green-fuel-powered commercial vehicles manufactured by Tata Motors, specifically tailored for Tata Steel. The fleet comprised Prima tractors, tippers, and the Ultra EV bus, leveraging Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and battery electric technologies.

The introduction of green-fuel-powered vehicles exemplifies Tata Motors' commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions.
