Tata International to Boost Sustainable Leather Output in Four Years

P Rajasekaran, Business Head - Finished Leather Business at Tata International, stated, "Despite lower demand post-Covid, we are now witnessing promising recovery with increased interest from key markets such as the USA, China, and Europe." This indicates a positive trend in the leather market's recovery.
In the financial year 2023-2024, Earthcare leather accounted for 27% of Tata International's total production. The company plans to increase this share to 50% over the next four years. Rajasekaran added, "We are optimistic about sustainable and bio-based leather."

Tata International is one of India's largest exporters of leather and leather products. The Earthcare Leather range is produced at the company's facilities in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, employing more than 750 workers.
