Tata Power Q2 Result: Tata Power on Tuesday reported a decline in its net consolidated profit (attributable to owners of the company) to Rs 919 crore in the September quarter of the financial year 2025-26. Tata Power's net consolidated revenue stood at Rs 15,544.91 crore in Q2FY26.
Tata Power shares closed 0.09% lower at Rs 395.6 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,26,407.63 crore on Tuesday. The stock had touched an intraday high of Rs 396 per share and an intraday low of Rs 390 per share.

Tata Power Q2 Result
Tata Power's net profit or loss for the period stood at Rs 434.51 crore, against Rs 679.79 crore reported in the year-ago period. Tata Power's revenue from operations increased around 4% to Rs 33,233 crore in the first half of the financial year 2025-26. Tata Power's EBITDA increased around 57% to Rs 1,575 crore. The surge in revenue also indicated a boost in strategic investment in solar manufacturing and rooftop business, delivering stellar gains, as per the Tata Power press release
Whereas the EBITDA of Tata Power increased around 6% to Rs 4,032 crore. The company's revenue in the first half of FY26 improved due to performance across core businesses.
Tata Power's solar cell and module manufacturing achieved output of 928 MW of cells & 970 MW of Modules in Q2FY26. Tata Power's order book stands at Rs 1,116 crore. Tata Power has also commenced the construction of the 600 MW Khorlochhu Hydro Project in Bhutan. Tata Power has around 40% stake in the plant, and the plant has signed a loan agreement worth Rs 4,829 crore with PFC.
"Tata Power is very well positioned to expand further with 10 GW of clean capacity under construction including a healthy pipeline of 5 GW Hybrid and FDRE projects. The Company's backward-integrated solar manufacturing facilities are operating at full capacity, with ALMM listed modules and cells supporting the "Make in India" clean energy push," noted the company in its press release.
Tata Power ESOPS Announcement
In another development, Tata Power's committee had approved Employee Stocks Options (ESOPs).
"The Nomination and Remuneration Committee at its meeting held today, approved the grant of 50,73,760 (Fifty Lakh Seventy-Three Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty) employee stock options to the eligible employees in terms of 'The Tata Power Company Limited - Employee Stock Option Plan 2023' under SEBI (Share Based Employee Benefits and Sweat Equity) Regulations, 2021," noted the company in its press release.
