Tata Steel Q4 Results: Tata Group-backed 117-years-old steel giant, Tata Steel will be in focus on Monday, May 12, as it will declare its Q4 results for FY25. The company is also likely to consider a dividend proposal on the day. For the fourth quarter, experts predict a surge in volumes due to strong demand in the domestic market.

Tata Steel Share Price:

Last week, on Friday, Tata Steel's share price closed at Rs 142.75 apiece, down by 0.6% on BSE, with a market cap of Rs 1,78,201.14 crore. The stock's 52-week high and low is at Rs 184.60 apiece and Rs 122.60 apiece respectively.

As of now, the stock's price-to-equity ratio is at 12.01x, while the return on equity is at 10.44%. YTD, the stock jumped by 4.4%. In a month, the stock climbed by 7% on the BSE.

Tata Steel Q4 Results Date:

Tata Steel will announce its Q4 result on May 12. The board of directors will consider and take on record the audited Standalone and unaudited Consolidated financial statements and results for the quarter ended March 31, 2025.

"We expect domestic steel volumes to increase by 3.7% yoy to 5.62mt led by strong demand in the domestic market. We expect steel realisations to remain flat sequentially as price hikes were more back-ended towards the end Mar'25 which should reflect in 1QFY26E realisations. We expect India's profitability to improve by 13% QoQ to Rs 12,800/t driven by lower coking coal prices. In Europe, we expect losses to continue as transition losses in the UK are likely to offset the sequential improvement in the Netherlands in 4QFY25E," said brokerage Equirus' note.

Key things to focus on Monday are --- Guidance on KPO-II ramp-up in FY26E, Expansion plans in India over the next 2-3 years, UK transition and outlook for FY26-27E and capex guidance for the next two years. Management clarity on tariffs and impact on European operations will also be crucial.

Tata Steel Dividend 2025:

The company is going to consider dividends, if any, for the financial year ending March 31, 2025.

Tata Steel delivered 27 dividends since June 2003, as per Trendlyne. In the last 12 months, the company paid about Rs 3.60 dividend per share. Its current dividend yield is at 2.52%.

Tata Steel Share Recommendation:

Equirus has suggested a target price of Rs 150. Meanwhile, for the short term, Axis Securities has suggested BUY for a target price of Rs 152.69 with an entry price between Rs 142 to Rs 143 and a stop loss of Rs 141.
