As per the leading dailies report, the arm of Tata Motors-Tata Technologies is mulling over an IPO as there is seen increased demand for electric vehicles as well as the aviation segment demand has increased immensely. If the plan goes through it shall be the first by the Tata group ever since it floated TCS IPO in 2004 and the first under the chairmanship of N Chandrasekaran who took over in January 2017.

Further reportedly Tata Play previously Tata Sky is also mulling listing plans.“ The IPO process for Tata Technologies kicked off recently and investment bank Citi is on board. These are early days for the deal and there is no clarity yet on the proposed issue size or structure”, one of the sources is quoted as saying in a leading business portal report.
Also, confirming the report the other sources went on to state that the work has already been begun on the IPO and in the later stage few more banks will be added.
