TCS in its results declared on Wednesday (October 7, 2020) also announced salary hike for its employees effective October 1, 2020. The company's total headcount stands at 4.53 lakhs as of September 30, 2020.

Also, the company said it has its eyes on organic development of its staff including upskilling and using training. Some 3.52 lakh employees have undergone training in multiple technologies while 4.27 lakh have been trained on Agile methods.
Attrition rate at the company has also hit an all time low of 8.9 percent, the company said. "We want to thank all TCSers for the incredible resilience they have shown during these trying times. We are happy to announce that we will be rolling out salary increases, effective October 1st. We started onboarding freshers, and increased our recruitment globally in Q2, in anticipation of the growth trajectory we see ahead, said Milind Lakkad, Global Head, Human Resources.
Also the company's profits have beaten street expectations with profits at Rs. 7475 crore. Buyback has been announced for Rs. 16000 crore.
