TCS Nashik unit FIR details and police sections

The FIR said the complainant first met one accused four years ago through the same college. The accused allegedly offered help in getting a job at TCS after graduation. The complaint said that in July 2022 the accused tried to force himself. It also said the accused spoke of marriage at that time.

According to the complaint, the complainant later joined the TCS Nashik unit where the accused worked. The FIR alleged that in August 2024 the accused took the complainant to a resort. It said a physical relationship was established against the complainant’s wishes. The complainant later learnt in February 2026 that the accused had a wife and two children.

The FIR stated that the accused’s wife contacted the complainant, revealing the marriage. The complaint said the complainant confronted the accused after that contact. The FIR alleged that the accused admitted having no plan to marry. The complainant also reported further harassment and pressure around this period.

The complaint named two other colleagues and described repeated meetings in the company canteen. The FIR said the trio made derogatory remarks about Hindu deities. It also alleged objectionable comments about worshipping Shivalinga. The complaint further said insulting remarks were made about Draupadi from the Mahabharat.

The complainant told police the group pushed the complainant to convert to Islam. The FIR said they called Islam a superior religion. The complaint also alleged sexual harassment and blackmail by some co-accused. Police applied Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 68, 75 and 299 in this FIR.

TCS Nashik unit statement and internal probe steps

Tata Consultancy Services said on Friday that a preliminary review found no such complaints. The company said records showed no reports through ethics or POSH channels. It also announced an oversight panel for an internal probe. TCS said external entities would be involved in the review.

TCS added that it follows a zero-tolerance policy for coercion or misconduct. The company also addressed reports about Nida Khan’s role. It said Khan was not an HR manager, as some media claimed. TCS said Khan never held any leadership position within the organisation.

TCS Nashik unit court updates and accused search

Nida Khan filed an anticipatory bail plea before the Nashik sessions court. The court is scheduled to hear the plea on Monday. A Nashik Police Crime Branch team remained in Mumbra, in Thane district. Police said the team was trying to trace Khan after the filing.

A court extended police remand for co-accused Raza Memon, 35, and Shafi Sheikh, 36. The remand was extended till April 20. Nida Khan’s lawyer rejected the allegations during the bail process. The lawyer said she cannot be accused of outraging the modesty of another woman.

Officials said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a high-level home department meeting. The meeting reviewed several key ongoing investigations, including the TCS case. Fadnavis ordered a comprehensive investigation into the Nashik allegations. Officials said Fadnavis asserted that incidents like forcible religious conversion will not be tolerated.
