Tech Sector Welcomes Continuity as Vaishnaw Holds MeitY, Eyes Growth

The technology sector has welcomed Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's reappointment as the Minister of Electronics and IT, anticipating a stable and continuous policy framework that is expected to spur growth and boost investor confidence. V Veerappan, Chairman of the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), praised Minister Vaishnaw for his significant contributions to semiconductor and electronics manufacturing growth. He anticipates that Vaishnaw's continued leadership will further bolster the sector, while Minister of State Jitin Prasada's fresh perspectives will aid in economic expansion and job creation. IESA is keen on collaborating with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to fulfill the Prime Minister's vision of a developed India (Viksit Bharat) and position the country as a leader in semiconductors and electronics on the global stage.
