HDFC Bank Netbanking Not Working, Customers Left Frustrated
HDFC Bank has been facing a technical glitch in its netbanking and mobile banking facilities for the second straight day. After repeated errors, especially on the first working day of the month, customers took to social media with queries and to express their disapproval.
To calm its customers, HDFC Bank, through its Twitter account dedicated for customer service (@HDFCBANK_Cares) has been replying to grievances.
"Due to a technical glitch, some of our customers have been having trouble logging into our net banking and MobileBanking App. Our experts are working on it on top priority, and we're confident we'll be able to restore services shortly. While we deeply regret the inconvenience caused, there's no cause for undue concern," a tweet said.
HDFC Bank has over 4.5 crore customers and at least half of them use its digital channels to make their EMI payments at the start of the month. The technical error which says, "We are experiencing heavy traffic. Please try again after sometime. Apologies for inconvenience."
The private lender has not provided any estimated time to get the glitch resolved.
