The Paradise Box Office Collection Day 2: Nani-Srikanth Odela Film Crosses Rs 52 Cr; Telugu Version Dominates

Nani and director Srikanth Odela's The Paradise continued to draw audiences on Friday, with the Telugu version remaining the clear driving force behind the film's theatrical performance. The action drama, which marks the second collaboration between Nani and Odela after Dasara, recorded its strongest audience response in the Telugu market, while the Hindi and Tamil versions contributed more modestly.

The film's Friday show count also remained high, with thousands of screenings across India. According to live box-office estimates by Sacnilk, The Paradise collected around Rs 6.18 crore India net on Friday from 3,805 shows, taking its cumulative India net collection to approximately Rs 52.43 crore. The figures are provisional and can change once all shows are reported.

The film had collected Rs 11.60 crore from its premiere on Wednesday, followed by Rs 34.65 crore India net on Thursday. With Friday's estimated earnings added, the film's opening run has crossed the Rs 52-crore mark in India.

Nani's The Paradise in Telugu, Hindi & Tamil

The Telugu version continued to account for the bulk of Friday's earnings. It recorded an estimated Rs 5.45 crore from 1,949 shows, with occupancy of around 39%.

The Hindi version collected approximately Rs 59 lakh from 1,524 shows, registering 13% occupancy, while the Tamil version added around Rs 14 lakh from 332 shows with 15% occupancy. Overall, the film recorded an estimated 26.5% occupancy across India on Friday.

The performance of the Telugu version is particularly important for the film's overall theatrical run. On its first full day, the Telugu version had already generated the majority of the film's India net collection, while Hindi and Tamil contributed smaller portions.

The latest Friday numbers show that this language-wise pattern has continued, making the film's performance in Telugu-speaking markets a key factor in its weekend trajectory.

The Paradise: Cast, Director And Storyline

The Paradise reunites Nani with filmmaker Srikanth Odela following their earlier collaboration Dasara. The new film takes viewers to 1980s Secunderabad, where the story revolves around a marginalised community dealing with social and feudal power structures while seeking recognition and dignity.

Nani headlines the film as Jadal Zamana. Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal and Kayadu Lohar appear as Shikanja Maalik, Vikram Maalik and Subbu, respectively. The cast also includes Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu, while Keerthy Suresh features in a special appearance.

The technical team includes Anirudh Ravichander for the music, CH Sai as cinematographer and Naveen Nooli as editor. Sudhakar Cherukuri has backed the project under the SLV Cinemas banner.
