The story follows Raju, also called RajaSaab, played by Prabhas, who searches for exiled exorcist grandfather Kanakaraju, played by Sanjay Dutt. The journey leads to a haunted mansion in Hyderabad, where disturbing secrets about Kanakaraju emerge.

Inside the mansion, RajaSaab learns that Kanakaraju is the devil incarnate, who vanished earlier to set a trap for the grandson. The fantasy horror comedy mixes scares with humour, and critics and audiences have delivered a mixed verdict since January 9. The Raja Saab box office collection remained slightly less in the first half of Friday, January 16. The movie had earned an estimated Rs 130.25 crore in the first week of its release, according to Sacnilk website. As per the industry tracker website, the movie had earned an estimated Rs 1.12 crore on day 8 till 3:44 pm, as per Sacnilk. Its total box office collection (India Net) stood at Rs 131.37 crore in till Friday, January 16.
