These 4 IPOs In 2019 Doubled Investors Wealth
Even as the equities market have been volatile for quite some time, investors who took the primary market route in the current year and invested in some of the good quality IPO issues managed to double their wealth. In the calendar year, 13 companies made their debut on the bourses and most of them are trading well above their issue price and some of them at one point even trebled investors' wealth with returns of more than 200% (IRCTC stock).

In 2019, Sensex scaled higher by as much as 12% and during the same time S&P BSE IPO index rallied 35%. Of the total 13 companies that listed this year, eight have outperformed IPO index with returns over 38% in comparison to their respective issue prices.

So, from the list we can draw that investors in IRCTC, IndiaMart Intermesh, Polycab India and Affle (India) were able to double their investments in the IPO issue.
Through the initial offer, these 12 newly listed companies aggregated a total of Rs. 8362 crore and currently enjoy a valuation of Rs. 12,581 crore, higher by 50%.
