No you guessed it wrong, it is not the metros in India that have made it to the list of World's fastest growing cities but Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kollam. The list has been arrived as per a Survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

Mallappuram has topped the charts with number 1 position and recorded a change of 44.1% between 2015-2020 , while Kozhikode and Kollam record 34.5% and 31.1% change and hold fourth and tenth position, respectively.

The other cities in the top 10 list were three cities from China, one each from Nigeria, Oman, UAE and Vietnam.

Other cities of India which formed the part of list are 13th position being bagged by Thrissur, 26th position by Surat, Gujrat and Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu which holds 30th spot.
