Chemical Stock Alert: Shares of Trading-Chemical firm, A-1 Limited, ended higher on Tuesday after the company announced that it has secured a supply order from Solar Group of Industries for the supply of acids and industrial chemicals, equivalent to Rs 38.7 crore.

A-1 stock closed 4.98% higher at Rs 5.27 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 242.42 crore on BSE on Tuesday, August 11. The stock had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 5.27 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 5.26 per share.

A-1 Business Update

The company has secured an order from Solar Group of Industries for the supply of acids and industrial chemicals. "We are pleased to inform the exchange that A-1 Limited (formerly known as A-1 Acid Limited) ('the company") has secured a supply order from Solar Group of Industries for the supply of acids and industrial chemicals, aggregating to approximately Rs. 38.70 crore (Rupees Thirty-Eight crore seventy lakhs only), exclusive of applicable GST."

Under the contract, A-1 will supply acids and industrial chemicals to Solar Industries and its group entities. As per the press release, the transaction of the order is in the ordinary course of business and on an arm's length basis and does not fall within the ambit of domestic or foreign government.

The entire order is scheduled to be executed within the current financial year, over the three-month window ending October 31,2026. ". The company is honored to count Solar Industries India Limited among its customers. The management remains confident that timely and efficient execution of this order will further consolidate the company's relationship with this prestigious customer and pave the way for deeper and continued engagement in future," added the company in its press release.

A-1 Limited Share Price Trend

The stock closed 5% higher on Tuesday. It touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 70.41 per share on November 28, 2025. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 4.53 per share on August 6, 2026. The stock has a return on equity of 17.89%, and its value has declined by 89% in 2026 so far.
