Defence Stock Bags Another Big Order, Doubles Investors’ Money In 1 Year | Do You Own This Multibagger?

Defence Multibagger Stock Alert: Shares of Apollo Micro Systems Limited ended lower on Monday, despite the private defence player announcing that it has been awarded a defence order worth Rs 808.38 million.

AMS stock closed 1.4% lower at Rs 387.05 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 14,382.76 crore on Monday. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 397.90 per share and an intraday low of Rs 386 per share.

AMS Business Update

The defence technology company received an order worth Rs 808.38 million from defence PSUs. "We wish to inform you that, in the ordinary course of its business, the Company has been awarded orders worth INR 808.38 million by Defence PSUs, State Governments and Private Industries. This update is provided for the information to our shareholders," stated the brokerage in its report.

A few weeks ago, the company had announced the formal handing over of its indigenously designed and developed Safety & Detonation Device (SDD) to the Indian Navy. The company handed over the device to the Indian Navy during a ceremony attended by Rear Admiral Rupak Barua, VSM, Director General of Naval Inspection (DGNAI), Indian Navy, alongside senior officers of the Indian Navy and the leadership team of Apollo Micro Systems Limited on 30th July 2026.

"The handing over of the SDD marks the successful culmination of a rigorous design, development, qualification and validation journey and stands as a proud testimony to what Indian industry can deliver when entrusted with the most safety-critical elements of a weapon system," stated the firm in its press release.

Apollo Micro Systems Share Price Trend

The stock closed lower on Monday. It touched its 52-week high of Rs 466.70 per share on July 3, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low of Rs 180.80 per share on March 30, 2026. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 15.67%. Its share price value has declined 2.58% in a month. But it has surged nearly 66% in six months and has jumped 44% in 2026 so far. The stock has jumped 250% in two years.
