The company has informed BSE by saying that "Pursuant to the Regulation 29 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, please note that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Monday May 09, 2022 to consider and approve the Audited Financial Results for the quarter and year ended March 31,2022, consider the Issuance of Bonus Equity Shares, subject to the approval of Shareholders of the Company."
Cosmo has a Biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) production capacity of 200,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) and a Critical process parameters (CPP) manufacturing capability of 9,000 TPA, with manufacturing sites in India and Korea. Cosmo exports to almost 80 countries globally, in addition to having a major share of the domestic market. Companies include Pepsico, Coca-Cola, Unilever, P&G, Britannia, Parle, CP, Reckitt Benckiser, Nestle, Mars, and other top worldwide flexible packaging and stock producers including Amcor, Constantia, Huhtamaki, Avery Dennison, and others are including in the business base of the company.
The company's shares on the BSE have risen from Rs 708.30 on May 7, 2021 to Rs 2027.60 currently, marking a multibagger return of 171.43 per cent in a year. The stock has returned 925 per cent over the previous three years and has gained 45 per cent year-to-date (YTD). The stock closed at a market price of Rs 2027.60 on Friday, up 5.01 per cent from its previous closing price of Rs 1930.80. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 2,055.30 on Friday and an intraday low of Rs 1,869.05. According to the BSE, the stock has touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,140.00 on 11/04/2022 and a 52-week low of Rs 666.05 on 11/05/2021 and is now trading 5.25 per cent below its 52-week high.
The stock has increased by 171.43 per cent in a year, while the BSE Sensex has increased by 11.44 per cent. Cosmo Films Ltd. is now trading higher above the 5 days, 20 day, 50 days, 100 days, and 200-day moving averages. Over the previous five years, the company has maintained a strong dividend return of over 20% and has generated good profit growth of over 18% CAGR. Over the previous ten years, the company has generated a return on equity of 13 per cent, 17 per cent in the last five years, 18 per cent in the last three years, and 29 per cent in the last year.
