InstaTohfa On Valentine's Day: Quick online delivery app, Swiggy goes viral with his new advertisement campaign 'InstaTohfa' this Valentine's Day on February 14. Netizens are going gaga over the quirky campaign where Swiggy featured Bollywood actor Tushar Kapoor in the advertisement to reminisce about the iconic 80s hit 'Tohfa Tohfa Tohfa' song that starred by his father Jeetendra.
With this new campaign, Swiggy is delivering any gifts either be chocolates, jewellery, flowers or more, in just 10 minutes through his application, InstaMart.

It's the perfect ad for Valentine's Day. In the advertisement, Tushar Kapoor who is all dressed in all-white, does a fair justice to the decades-old sensational song. His performance gives a sense of nostalgia, reminding the popular trending dance moves that had many fans head over heels for his father Jeetendra, a megastar all through the late 60s to 80s. The marketing of the campaign has a mixture of both traditional and modern themes.
The message this Valentine's Day, Swiggy is spreading is to share and buy gifts to all your loved ones since the day is not just meant for romantic couples but for everyone. With a huge red heart in the background, Tushar portrays playfulness and sentiment with his family including his on-screen grandparents, kids, and significant other.

The campaign ends with Swiggy's core message, "Give pyaar ka InstaTohfa in just 10 minutes, only on Swiggy Instamart."
This isn't the first time Swiggy used familiar cultural references to engage with the masses. Earlier, its Instamart had roped in Karisma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, and Falguni Pathak as well.
Last month, Swiggy announced that Swiggy Instamart has expanded to 76 cities across the nation, and will soon also be available as a standalone app.

Swiggy revealed that this is not Swiggy's first foray into standalone apps, even as the company has successfully built three major businesses-Food Delivery, Quick Commerce, and Dining Out on its unified platform. An Instamart-first shortcut for the Swiggy app has already been available on the Android PlayStore. Swiggy's popular restaurant reservation service, Dineout, was acquired and integrated into the unified app; while continuing to operate as a standalone app.
