The company said in a stock exchange filing on Thursday that it has proposed to raise funds by issuing 75,000 listed, unsecured, rated, redeemable non-convertible debentures of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each issued at par aggregating to Rs 7,50,00,00,000 on private placement basis, on or after September 4, 2023.

The company said in a stock exchange filing that MPS Interactive Systems Limited ("MPSi"), one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of MPS Limited has agreed to acquire 65% of the issued and paid-up share capital of each of the following entities i.e. Liberate Learning Pty Ltd (Australia), Liberate eLearning Pty Ltd (Australia), App-eLearn Pty Ltd (Australia), and Liberate Learning Limited (New Zealand) ("Liberate Group"), by executing Share Purchase Agreement ("SPA") dated 29 August 2023, for consideration of AUD 9.32 Million. MPSi has successfully acquired 65% of the issued and paid-up share capital of each of the companies in the Liberate Group by paying the price of AUD 7.58 Million payable at completion.

The first Diving Support Craft (DSC) has been implemented by Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) from its shipyard in Titagarh, West Bengal. Mrs. Aradhna Mahindru, wife of Vice Admiral Sanjay Mahindru, AVSM, NM, Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff (DCNS), honoured the launch event on Thursday. TRSL already holds the distinction of being the first privately owned shipbuilder in West Bengal to provide the Indian Navy with sophisticated naval boats. As of right now, TRSL is West Bengal's first and only privately owned shipyard to construct a warship for the Indian Navy. The provided DSC will be integrated into the Southern Naval Command Clearance Diving Teams (CCDT) of the Indian Navy and will offer diving support for undersea ship maintenance, repair, and salvage operations inside specified harbours.

The FMCG behemoth said on Thursday that it would employ millets as an ingredient to provide consumers with more varied food alternatives. In keeping with the government's emphasis on millets, Nestlé India is developing a diversified food portfolio across brands that, via collaborations and product innovations, promotes millet as a more sustainable food alternative. Nestlé India has introduced Nestlé a+ Masala Millet, which contains bajra and can be consumed as a light meal at any time of the day, as a part of this programme. Nestlé a+ Masala Millet is available in two mouth watering flavors: Tangy Tomato and Veggie Masala. A multi-serve box costs Rs. 175 for 240 g, and a single-serve bag costs Rs. 30 for 40 g. The product has 30% less calories, 30% more fibre, and no additional preservatives. It has been established with the assistance of the Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR). The breakfast cereals Nestlé CEREGROW Grain Selection with Ragi, Nestlé MILO Cocoa Malt with Bajra, and Nestlé KOKO KRUNCH Millet-Jowar have already been introduced in India by Nestlé.

PNB

With effect starting on September 1, 2023, a state-owned bank on Thursday increased the marginal cost of funds-based lending rate (MCLR) by 5 bps across tenures.

Through open market transactions, TA FDI Investors offloaded 37.37 lakh shares, or 9.03% of the company, at an average price of Rs 1,125.07 per share. The share sale brought in 420.53 crore rupees. However, for a total of Rs 308.11 crore, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, India Acorn Icav, and DSP Mutual Fund acquired 6.61% of Prudent Corporate, or 27.38 lakh shares, at an average price of Rs 1,125 per share. As of June 2023, the foreign corporation Wagner owned 24.07% of Prudent.
