Yash has returned to the big screen with a strong box-office showing as Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has recorded Rs 238.11 crore gross in India since hitting theatres on August 26, 2026, according to a CNBC-TV18 report. The film has already moved past the Rs 200 crore mark, giving the actor a notable theatrical comeback after KGF: Chapter 2.

The collection, however, needs to be viewed in the context of the film's reported scale. The reported budget changes the way the film's box-office numbers are being assessed. A Rs 238.11 crore India gross may represent a sizeable achievement for many movies, but Toxic operates on a very different financial scale.

The amount collected at the ticket window is also not the same as the money returned to the producers. A portion of theatrical revenue goes towards exhibitors and distributors.
