The company provides technology solutions such as CCTV surveillance systems, biometric identification, IT infrastructure and software integration for government departments, public sector organisations and private businesses.

Transline Technologies IPO: Revenue, Profit Growth, Business Model and Expansion Plans

The proposed IPO will involve the sale of up to 1.62 crore existing shares by current shareholders. Since the issue is an offer for sale (OFS), the company will not receive any money from the share sale. The proceeds, after expenses, will go to the shareholders selling their shares.

For investors, the company's revenue growth, profitability, customer base and plans to expand its business will be important factors to assess before considering the IPO.

Transline Technologies Revenue and Profit Growth

Transline Technologies has reported a sharp increase in revenue over the past three financial years. According to its draft offer documents, revenue from operations rose from Rs 113.97 crore in FY23 to Rs 225.89 crore in FY24. It increased further to Rs 371.08 crore in FY25.

The company also recorded higher profits. Its profit after tax (PAT), which is the amount left after expenses and taxes, increased from Rs 9.88 crore in FY23 to Rs 48.33 crore in FY25.

Know About Company, Transline Technologies

Transline Technologies supplies and installs technology systems used for security, identification and digital infrastructure. Its work includes setting up surveillance cameras, biometric identification systems, IT networks and integrated software solutions.

For example, a government department or a private company may need CCTV cameras installed across several locations, biometric systems to identify employees or IT infrastructure to connect different offices. Transline provides solutions for such requirements, including installation, integration and technical support.

In FY25, technology solutions accounted for approximately 80.36% of the company's revenue, while services contributed 19.64%. This means most of its revenue came from supplying and implementing technology solutions rather than providing services alone.

The company is also looking to increase income from annual maintenance contracts, system monitoring, software subscriptions and managed services. These services could help it earn revenue from maintaining and supporting systems after their initial installation.

Government departments and public sector undertakings contributed around 66.03% of Transline Technologies' revenue in FY25. In simple terms, nearly two-thirds of its revenue came from government-related customers.

Transline also works with private-sector customers in retail, financial services and industrial segments. Expanding this customer base could help the company reduce its dependence on government contracts over time.

Expansion Plans in India and Overseas Markets

Transline Technologies plans to expand its distribution and system integration network in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. These markets could offer opportunities as businesses and institutions increasingly require surveillance systems, biometric identification and digital infrastructure.

The company is also exploring selected international markets through local partnerships. Overseas expansion could open up new business opportunities, but it will require reliable partners, technical support and the ability to execute projects across different locations.

What Should Investors Check Before IPO?

Transline Technologies' revenue and profit growth provide an important starting point for understanding its business. However, investors should also examine its dependence on government customers, the share of revenue generated by technology solutions, and its ability to develop more regular income through maintenance and other services.

The IPO's offer-for-sale structure is another key consideration. Since existing shareholders are selling their shares, the company will not receive fresh funds from the issue to finance expansion.
